1. Live Small Party Huge. Weiland (Alleen Plains). That's the song today. The "first rapper with a pair of fucking titties" guy decided to become Ariel Pink one day without all of the cracker shit to great success. In my opinion, at least, because I have nobody to talk about this with even though it is really good for what it is. Maybe it's best music stays this way.
2. I might start a last.fm. It wouldn't hurt at the very least, would it? I've never been enthralled with the idea of uploading my music listening habits onto a proprietary free web service, considering that there is an implicit cost in my usage of the product. It wouldn't be hard, especially with modern technology, to be able to have an artificial intelligence model discern one's disposition, mood, and circumstances solely from what songs they listen to. Just as how Facebook loves egging on mothers grieving after miscarriages, I'm afraid Israeli Spotify AI drones will come to my house and tell me to stop listening to "Next Big Thing" by Blueface when I'm watering my flowers.
3. The song today is patchwork demo by Cities Aviv. As to claims made in #1: "Believe in anything you want to believe, believe in anything you want to conceive, believe in anything you want to see in real time turning water to wine".
4. I've lost 3 pounds over the past 3 weeks, I think. I weigh myself late at night, which undoubtedly gives an inaccurate measurement, but I've been dealing with a lot of physical uneasiness in the morning these past few days. I should be at about 162 lbs now, and I look in the mirror (when I'm not bloated out the ass) and I swear I begin to see a six pack working. Good on me!
5. The secret? Rice crackers and black coffee and loving older men.
6. The Red Sox lost and are failures. The Padres lost and, not only are they failures too, but they went to a washed Yu Darvish in an elimination game as opposed to starting Michael King to begin with. Michael King like, you know, the reliever-turned-starter you got that can strike out 10 and give you 6 scoreless on a good day? Facing a team that employs Pete Crow-Armstrong? No, let's send the 終わっていた投手 out there to not even be able to get out of the second. Fuck analytics nerds and fuck Bryce Harper.
7. I hate Jarren Duran and I hate the Boston Red Sox.
8. Panathinaikos lost, against my prior word, so they did horrible things to me as a result. It's ok though because they were sort of done to begin with-- their manager was sacked not too long ago, and there's been constant calls to sell the team-- but the fashion in which they coughed over the lead was kind of insulting. This seems to be a pattern in my every day life.
9. If Greece doesn't qualify for the World Cup I'll probably kill myself. Yes Hojlund is winning the Ballon d'Or in 2026 whatever just destroy Scotland like you did before get it over with. I am running out of things to be proud of here I kinda need this.
10. I heard my professor speaking German and it sounded like he was speaking some sort of Cyrillic language.
11. I've grown tired of this way of life already. No amount of activity in a day can really steer me away from the inevitability of constant dissatisfaction in my own life. It's as if I want an impossible amount of agency over it.
12. I mentioned game design yesterday, and I thought about it again today. "If I were to design a game, what would it be?" stated internally in the most autistic way possible (think monotonous, stuttering, and hypersalivating). I gave the question some time and I came to the conclusion that it'd just be Sin & Punishment (2000). Probably the best game ever made actually. Please play it? Lol
13. If it had to be like a literary work (including the dreaded "visual novel") I think something like Danganronpa with the posturing of an ancient Greek dialogue would be really fun to try and make.
14. The wording on that that one might be really hard to understand, so think of it as this: like 2 dudes arguing and then a whole bunch of people start licking their chops and joining in for no apparent reason at all. Retarded rhetorical questions. Confusing prose (EOP speaking). The word "malaka".
15. I only learned recently that malaka essentially means "wanker".
16. My favorite derogatory term in Greek is "που να μη σε βρει το βράδυ"
17. Another (yes, another!) mutual DMed me and showed off something similar to what I am doing right now. Yes, that would of course be typing bullshit in a numbered list. I like having gravity with dumb ideas. I hope I inspire people to do more dumb shit.
18. At this rate, a proper webring will be established in a decades time.
19. I actually began watching Clannad today. It seems nice. I hope it doesn't like do anything to me emotionally.
20. I'm actually hairy as fuck and it's to my detriment most of the time. Using shampoo on the rest of my body might actually be advantageous.
21. I've always been curious of what life is like in completely different parts of the world, and I want to be the person to figure out firsthand what it's like.
22. The more time passes the more I think I should've gone in the marine engineering field or something similar. On the boat for a loooong time.
23. You're on the boat for a long time and then you're not on it for a long time. You are paid swimmingly as a result I've seen, although I don't think "swimming" is something you'd want to be doing if you happened to be stationed on a large container ship. There might actually be something seriously wrong!
24. It's incredible how even the newer Thinkpads, which are supposedly cheap and flimsy, feel surperior to pretty much every other laptop on the market.
25. The only thing you can possibly make an argument in favor for is the Macbook, but price comparisons on certain model(s) will make that discussion a lot more elaborate than it should be.
26. Both of them should be able to play your Japanese porn games out of technicality.
27. Consumer hardware should be getting more modular over time, but if anything its getting less.
28. It feels like things aren't getting cheaper because of material costs and ease of production anymore, a pattern most prevalently seen in storage prices as of recent. Some technology is cheaper because [technology] is now a multi-faceted business that doesn't end with a purchase. It's subscription services, ads warranty, digitally signed device accessories. One could now easily say that buying and renting was a much simpler, more sustainable model.
29. Really, nothing happened today. Go away
